Case Study
Agile RPO
Organisation: Australian Payments Company
SOLUTION
The Outsourced Recruitment company set up an RPO arrangement for a set period of time. The RPO used an agile, sprint based approach to work through the volume of roles. Each sprint saw a focus on the roles that had been moved from the backlog into the sprint. The team ran fortnightly sprint planning sessions in which roles were prioritised (after consultation with line managers). The RPO arrangement utilised a retainer pricing model and a minimal fee per hire for each role filled.
AGILE RPO
The Agile approach allowed us to align completely with line managers' expectations and to have complete transparency with every stakeholder. We utilised a Kanban board that was accessible to all. This allowed for real time status reporting, velocity management and realistic resource allocation. The fortnightly sprint approach, combined with retrospectives, allowed for continual improvement and open communication.
RESULTS
The Outsourced Recruitment company was able to service all key areas of the business and filled a considerable number of the backlog of requirements for all stakeholders. The arrangement saved the company significant financial and time costs and allowed the TA team to focus on more proactive and strategic work.
